The New Galloway Instructional Model (S.A.G.E)., is designed to ensure our students are well prepared for success in college and careers in the 21st Century. Serving as theFoundation for all components offered in the S.A.G.E. Program for the Lower and Upper School Programs, are the 21st Century Skills that students will need for success.The 21st Century calls for strong communicators, problem-solvers, collaborators, critical thinkers, and creative minds.

We know that the 21st Century graduates will be required to possess skills that are different from the skills we were taught in our education. Today's careers will require a global mindset and technological skills far beyond our imagination. At the same time we provide digital instruction, we want our students at Galloway to receive traditional instruction in the basics of mathematical computation, reasoning and problem-solving, fundamental conventions in writing for varied purposes, development of good penmanship habits, pratice in oral speaking and making formal presentation, exposure to classical and contemporary literature, foundaotions in proper English, spelling, and mechanics, inquiry-based instruction across all disciplines, independent and cooperative group learning experiences, traditional paper and pencil and authentic, performance-based assessments, global education to increase awareness of our place in the world, S.T.E.M education to prepare our students for the increasingly complex skills required for innovation in the sciences, technology, mathematics and engineering career fields, and the development of strong communication skills.
