Welcome to The Galloway School!

As a hometown resident who grew up and graduated from Clear Creek High School in the Clear Creek Independent School District, I learned the value of an outstanding education.  The Space Age was just beginning in the Clear Lake area and a whole new world opened up for many of us.  Having reaped the benefits of fabulous educators and a good school system, I felt compelled to give back to a community that enriched my life and allowed me the opportunity to attend college and become a teacher.  Graduating from the University of Houston with a BS in Elementary Education and a minor in Criminology Studies I entered the teaching world as a 3rd grade teacher at Armand Bayou Elementary in Clear Creek ISD.  Then, in 1995, the opportunity knocked and I became the Principal of a small but academically focused private school; The Galloway School.

With only 21 students I began an exciting new journey which, today, 14 years and 240 students later, has been a great ride!  For the past 34 years I have had the opportunity to share my love of teaching with my second love-children.   Along the way I have had many opportunities and rewarding successes in my career, but none as that which was bestowed on our school in 2009; voted "Best Private School and Preschool in the Bay Area."

As Principal of The Galloway School I have been truly blessed and know that as I continue on this educational journey I will have many more opportunities to share in the pride and successes of such an outstanding school.
