About the teacher: I have been studying music since I was 2 years old when I begged my father to teach me how to play the piano! I began formal study at age 5 and added the violin at age 10 and then began to study the guitar while in high school. From junior high through college I played violin and piano with my school orchestras and sang in various choirs. I studied music at Bemidgi State University in Minnesota as well as Santa Monica College and UCLA in California where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree. I have taught violin, piano, and guitar privately for over 20 years. I am looking forward to a great year of singing, dancing, playing, and listening to music with all of my amazing students!
