CAMP ALLEN 2013

It's that time again.  The Annual Camp Allen Trip to beautiful Camp Allen outside of Navasota, Texas, is an oasis to schools, church organizations, and civic groups across Texas. The Galloway School is one of several private schools who have the privilege of attending this very special outdoor learning facility designed to give students and parents an opportunity to experience hands-on environmental learning in a safe and beautiful camping environment run by certified outdoor education camp specialists.

Our 2nd and 3rd Graders will be leaving tomorrow for four days and three nights. Who will be the first group to win the prestigious "Clean Cabin Award?" Will it be 3rd graders? Or, will our 2nd graders be the first to take the honors?

We hope Mrs. Sampson takes her Raid with her. Rumor has it that she doesn't care too much for bugs! In her honor, the Camp Allen Director has scheduled a special lesson on insects just for Mrs. Sampson.

We will keep you posted as pictures arrrive in our email, and try to keep an up-to-date slideshow of daily activities as they occur on the scene.
