Dad's Visiting Day 2013!
Dad's Day is always a big hit at The Galloway School! This year was no exception to the rule. Most of our dad's of PK3-2nd grade were present for roll call as donuts with dads began in the school cafeteria. "Smiles always seem to be brighter and wider when dad's show up on campus", said Mrs. Stroud. Following a welcome message from Mrs. Stroud, dad's were given their assignments for the morning to complete with their children. Teachers had prepared a number of activities for dad's to enjoy with our bright and eager students. In honoring dads, teachers wore colorful men's dress ties with their attire throughout the day. "Some of our dads probably recognized these ties from their closets", said Mrs. Stroud.
We want to thank our dads for being a part of this much anticipated school event. We look forward to mom's day tea and spa later in the year!
