Introducing the NEW Galloway Learning Initiative, S.A.G.E….Studies in Advanced Global Education. S.A.G.E. is designed to ignite the learning process upon arrival to school with an EXPLORATORY period of mini-courses ranging from Robotics to Cooking on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Galloway LEADERSHIP programs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Following the EXPLORATORY and LEADERSHIP sessions, students will follow a daily regimen of rigorous academic core classes, STEM Lab, Writing Lab, and Global Education Studies in the Global Education Center using the IPC (International Primary Curriculum), Spanish, Fine Arts, daily Physical Education, and dismissal at 3:50.
Galloway’s EXTEND Program for 2014-2015 may be expanded to include: academic competitions in all content areas, world languages (Mandarin, Latin, French, and Hindi or Urdu), Violin, Robotics, Public Broadcasting, Computer Coding and a variety of other clubs middle school students will be interested in taking.
Students can sign up for EXTEND courses during the first week of school. These course fees will be paid directly to the EXTEND instructors. EXTEND begins the 2nd week of school and ends one week prior to the last school day.
