We're No. 1!
The Galloway School took 1st place once again in the PSIA (Private School Academic )Competition on Saturday, February 18th.
PSIA is an acadaemic competition held between private schools located in different districts across the state of Texas. The Galloway School competed against 11 other schools in District 14. Students in grades 1st-8th grades compete in academic areas such as; storytelling, poetry interpretation, modern oratory, impromptu speech, creative writing, ready writing, music memory, art memory, number sense, mathematics, calculator applications, science, dictionary skills, vocabulary, and dictionary skills. More than 300 students compete to see who can take top honors so their school can travel to the state competition. This year The Galloway School will travel to Fort Worth's Texas Christian University on May 5th to see if we can win the State Competition once again.
